Withering Illusion

This illustration was mostly painted using Beam Paints handmade watercolors (I also used some white gouache and a bit of Perylene Green from another brand). They were really nice to use, I would recommend them for sure. I really like the Lake Huron Teal, which almost looks like a viridian, it even has a bit of granulation, but it's made from the non-toxic pigment PG7, and the Grey Ultra which has very rich undertones and a beautiful blue granulation.

Withering Illusion

"Visions of decay
Float around a sky
Draped in dripping clouds.
They show withered life
And landscapes
stripped from their colors.
But as the sky lighten,
They pop like bubbles,
Bringing back the vibrancy
Of the ever growing life."
