Temple Of The Sleeping Waters

I wanted to use some of my darker colors, so I made a piece with a fitting mood. I used Perylene Green, Quinacridone Violet and Carbazole Violet, which make a pretty moody palette, and I added Ultramarine Blue to add a bit of saturation.

Temple Of The Sleeping Waters

"Resting on a single slate
In the middle of an awfully still lagoon,
Unable to even dive a foot in the water,
Paralyzed by its motionlessness.
You’ve been taught to fear sleeping waters
For their harmless look is a mere deceit,
But have never learned what to do
When it surrounds you.
The very thought of sameness
Hums the echoes of a requiem
As the fear entangle its roots around you,
Turning your image
Into a picture of the same quietness
That frightened you in the first place."
