Strangled

I made this piece to try out a this color scheme based on Burnt Umber, one of the many browns on my palette and the one I use the least, but looking back, making a piece with that many hands was not the best idea. I didn't use references for all the hands and because of that some look a bit weird. But for the most part, I think I did good. The shading technique works pretty well to make the hands look a bit mor dynamic.

Strangled

"It became a simple routine
To be pulled around for any reason.
All of them,
They paint themselves as saviors
But really,
They just fight over who gets to claw at others.
They strangle outcasts
To then scream in outrage at their suffering
And pretend to be heroes for ending them,
Yet they refuse wholeheartedly
To withdraw their hands
When they’re told they are responsible
For suffocating them."
