Shining Rain

I reused a pattern I used in an old piece for the rain and improved it a bit. It's a bit hard to see on small screens, but I really like how the closer drops are pure white because they were made with masking fluid while those further away are a bit less opaque and appear more off-white because they were made with a white gel pen.

Shining Rain

“The cold rain
That pours incessantly
Feels like a relief,
As if it washed away
All concerns in an instant.
The continuous roll
Of the water pearls
Crashing on the roofs
As well as in the streets
Drowns out the usual noise
While the waving gleam of drops
Light the way ahead.”
