Rusted Light

That piece would have deserved more work in the sketching and drawing phases. A mistake in the drawing ended up making me mess up when until then the piece was rather good while I was trying to correct it. But there's still a few techniques I was able to get better at and a very nice color mix of Arylide Yellow and Quinacridone Violet I found out, so it's not all bad.

Rusted Light

“Dozing by the window,
Contemplating a light
That lost its shine,
Those rays pull your eyelids down
Yet these eyes refuse to close.
An offbeat feeling of dreaminess
Like a hazy inertia
Holds you in place,
In an awake dream
Of dust and rust.”
