Incense Smoke
This wasn't very long to paint, but planning all the smoke pattern took quite a while. I'm still not sure if I like this palette, but it didn't turn out bad so I guess it doesn't matter much.
Incense Smoke
"The slow combustion
Of a gum-adorned rod
Fills the room with a smokescreen
Gaining layers by the minute.
The charred yet sweet smell
Of the burning incense
Soaks in every fiber in the area
Sinking down
Even to the core of your lungs
While the fog gently coils around you
As if it transported you
To yet unexplored lands."
