Flat

I originally wanted to make the skin achromatic on one side of the separation line, but I scrapped that idea because it would have been incredibly difficult to do that while keeping the shading coherent betwwen each part. I ended up going with a slight blue glaze at the end, which neutralized the skin tone pretty well even though it has a slight blue bias and makes it a bit darker on that side. It's probably as close as I could have done anyway.

Flat

“Sometimes,
The slow drift of clouds
Becomes unnoticeable
And everything loses some depth.
It’s like you’re floating with them
Without lifting a foot off the ground.
Time and distance
For an indistinctive moment
Stop being,
As the world becomes nothing
But ink on a sheet of paper.”
