Fake Creation

Tried to use gouache rather than masking fluid for the highlights. It works well, but I certainly need more practice. It's quite a challenge to balance the viscosity of the paint and the opacity, one shot it's too thin and too transparent, next shot it's too thick and behaves strange in the pen. I'll probably swap to white ink instead, but I'll finish the tube of gouache first.

Fake Creation

“This is nothing but a lifeless facade,
A purposeless copy
To put up front
So that colors remain unseen.
Let go of it’s grasp,
And reveal the colors,
Because even if they fade in the light,
Everything is monochrome
If they stay in the dark.”
