Dusk Star

I really wasn't sure about the palette for the piece from the start, and.. I'm still not quite sure. It doesn't look bad, but it's not really that much of an interesting palette either. Another thing I wasn't sure about was the texture for the background, but I like how that turned out.

Dusk Star

“Sun goes down
On a cloudy day,
The brightness of the sky
That usually shines by this time
Is muddied by thick grey clouds.
But as the reds fade into a deep blue
And still without a hope to see the sky,
A lonely glimmer shines up there,
Through the many layers
Veiling all the other stars.”
