I think I managed to find a way to replicate the look of real watercolors pretty well with lots of control. But it takes a lit of layers. This piece had something like 40 layers and I kept merging some layers together to be less confusing so it probably took something like 80 layers in total.
"A cold wind rises
On a clear winter day.
With the sun’s
You’d think a comfortable warmth
Would bathe everything to be seen,
But the freezing bite
Of the wind blowing your hairs
Is the only thing
This weather has to offer."
